Fuck you, disappointment.
- Pep talk: Nothing aches quite like disappointment. It can cause a physical reaction in addition to its emotional headbutt. Tears, slumping shoulders, furrowed brow, and knotted muscles- It's a crappy cloud over your head. Thankfully, bad feelings don't have to last as long as they used to because now you have the tools to change your mind and thereby change your mood. By staying in this moment and nourishing your self-esteem, you can get over it.
- Today remind yourself: Fuck you, disappointment. I'm over you.
This has been the type of week where you really need to tell yourself, I will come out stronger in the end from this.
